Nuestro corresponsal en Los Ángeles, Jaime González, destaca que Leto mandó un mensaje de apoyo a la gente de Venezuela y Ucrania.
Activistas opositores promovieron en los últimos días una campaña en redes sociales para que los ganadores de los Oscar apoyaran al país en sus discursos.
"La campaña realizada por la oposición venezolana funcionó", explica González.
Leto, quien ha arrasado en la temporada de premios de Hollywood, dio las gracias a su madre, su hermano y a "todos los soñadores".
Agradeció a su madre, una niña que se convirtió en madre soltera y que luchó porque sus hijos fuesen creativos y aprendieran a soñar, según sus propias palabras.
El actor además agradeció a quienes han perdido la batalla contra el sida e hizo referencia a las crisis en países como Ucrania y Venezuela.

La keniata Lupita Nyong'o se lleva el Oscar a la mejor actriz de reparto por su papel en "12 Years A Slave" ("12 años de esclavitud"). Sube muy emocionada al escenario, en medio de una gran ovación.
Nyong'o nació en México porque su padre, un político renombrado en Kenia, se había exiliado a la nación latinoamericana, donde acabó dando clases en la universidad.
